Everything in Moderation

Just a quick note to say that I have had to enable moderation for comments on this blog. This will mean that if you are kind enough to comment on any of my posts it may take a liitle while for your comment to show up here- not too long as I usually regularly monitor the blog.  I regret having to moderate the comments but I seem to be attracting quite a few Chinese "Spam" comments recently!

    Unfortunately, this seems to be happening on several ham radio blogs.

    I too am loaded with spam, much of it the Chinese variety. Their junk is in our low-end discount stores and now sucked into our computers.

    Hi - Yes its a pain for sure despite putting in place some of the "Blogger" filters etc.. I too was subjected recently to comments appearing on "Old" post's Only reason I knew about them were the e-mails - I was getting links to chinese or taiwanese sports or porn sites - this kind of spamming apparently is automated - it seems they get higher ranking on search engines the more links they get.
